WHO IS C. JAFFEY? C JAFFEY...WHAT IS KNOWN? All the works of art below are signed C. Jaffey and all are originals, no prints have been found. All found across the net with most being preowned, fully framed artworks being offered for sale by their owners. At least 4 paintings have been found that are very nearly the same composition of a Thomas Kinkaid, the undisputed master of this style of paintings. Perhaps this is the reason C. Jaffey chooses to remain hidden? This is all that's known thus far. Oh, one other thing. At the cost I've seen these paintings going for on the internet, about anyone can afford to own a C. Jaffey original but few would ever afford an original Kinkade. Perhaps this may be the reason C Jaffey began painting in this style to begin with, even going so far as copying a few of the Kinkade compositions that really appealed to him. I know I've taken to thinking of C. Jaffey as the common man's Thomas Kincade. C JAFFEY...WHAT IS NOT KNOWN? Nearly everything. Who is he/she? Where is he/she? Is he/she a he or a she? Is he/she alive or dead and if alive, are they still painting? How old are the majority of these paintings? When did he/she start painting? How many paintings has he/she created? How many copy of Kinkade compositions are out there (out of C Jaffey's nearly 50 paintings I've only could found 4 thus far are obviously copies.) I find it amazing, this day and age, that a painter the likes of C Jaffey, has no web footprint other then the Thomas Kinkade style, original artworks for for sale on the internet by private owners. I'm hoping this site, coupled with the facebook fan page I've created, will inspire C. Jaffey art lovers worldwide, old and new, to share what they know about this artist.
